Wor(l)ds Lab has organized a workshop on how social bias are reflected in the algorithms that the digital platforms use. We have invited everyone to take part in a week where we wanted to explore how digital technologies can discriminate social groups because of the data they are trained with. The full-week event brought together interdisciplinary researchers and practitioners who research this topic, and more than 150 participants from various academic backgrounds and professional profiles have been involved.
